Our Story

Mr. Sunil Kumar Reddy established Savebhoomi Organic Farm in 2000, inspired by his early exposure to farming learned from his father. However, his passion for sustainable agriculture stemmed from a dissatisfaction with the use of harmful chemicals that degrade biodiversity for the sake of profit. Initially planting mango saplings without the use of any chemicals, he inadvertently began practicing organic farming. Recognizing this, he delved deeper into the principles of organic farming, dedicating substantial time and effort to mastering its methods.

Over time, Mr. Reddy expanded his knowledge by experimenting with various organic techniques. He has become an advocate for organic farming, actively sharing his expertise with fellow farmers, guiding them to embrace sustainable practices. Moreover, his commitment extends to educating the wider public about the numerous benefits associated with organic farming methods.

Diverse Fruit Cultivation

At SaveBhoomi Farms , We believe that diverse fruit cultivation contributes to ecological resilience. Various fruits attract diverse pollinators and beneficial insects, creating a more balanced ecosystem. This natural biodiversity aids in pest control, minimizes the need for chemical pesticides, and supports overall environmental sustainability.

Moreover, growing different fruits promotes soil health and fertility. Each fruit variety has unique nutrient needs, and rotating between different crops helps maintain a balanced soil profile. It prevents the depletion of specific nutrients and reduces the buildup of pests and diseases associated with monoculture farming practices.

Wild cattle in organic Farming

Incorporating cattle into organic farming systems offers significant benefits:

Natural Fertilization: Cattle supply valuable organic fertilizer through their manure. Once composted, it enriches soil fertility, enhances microbial activity, and improves soil structure, fostering healthy plant growth.

Soil Health: Grazing cattle aids soil health by fostering nutrient recycling. Their grazing habits aerate the soil, improving water infiltration, reducing compaction, and fostering diverse plant growth, preventing erosion, and boosting soil organic matter.

Sustainable Nutrient Management: Cattle grazing on pasture return nutrients to the soil through their manure, closing the nutrient cycle and reducing reliance on external inputs, contributing to sustainable farming practices.
